I’m launching this site from China – where I’m on a 10-day tour with Canadian Brass. I look forward to writing more when I return to the US. This summer has some really exciting performing experiences in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and Asia. I hope you enjoy the new site, and come back often!

Dear Mr. Nelsen,
How are you? I am a horn player living in Hong Kong, I am very appreciate the excellent thew high quality of Yamaha Horn for such a long time, I have a 667vs horn and 321 single horn in Bb, i know that your 667vs horn is with the gold lacquer onit, I would like to know that wha tthe difference between the gold lacquer and common lacquer when playing the horn?
Also, I know Yamaha won’t sell some good models to another countries, may I know that are the 867 87 667vs horn are the smae to each other? Mr. Gerd Seifert, the former principle of Berlin Philharmonic use the 667vs too, does it the same horn to yurs? (I am so sorry for I ask too many questions)
